Privacy
Short version: this site doesn't use cookies or tracking, and the Session Shelf app keeps your library on your Mac.
Who's responsible
Eric Mueller, Berlin, told-judge2n@icloud.com (see Imprint).
Hosting
This site is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit it, Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address and browser in server logs, to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Vercel may process data in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Mailing list
If you sign up, your e-mail address is stored with Buttondown (buttondown.com), which sends the newsletter. You first get a confirmation e-mail, and you're only added once you confirm (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Every e-mail has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask me to delete your address at any time.
Beta download
The beta key you enter is only checked, not stored. Downloads come from GitHub (github.com, GitHub Inc.), which processes your IP address to deliver the file.
YouTube video
The walkthrough video only loads after you click it. It's then played from youtube-nocookie.com (Google Ireland Ltd.), which receives your IP address and may set cookies (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, by your click).
The app
- Session Shelf reads your Ableton projects and keeps its library on your Mac. Nothing about your projects is uploaded.
- At launch it checks this site (whether the beta is running) and GitHub (for updates). These requests contain the app version and your IP address, and nothing else.
- When you send feedback from the app, your message, the optional e-mail address and, if you tick the box, the app version, macOS version and library size are sent to me and stored as a private GitHub issue.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to a data protection authority.
